RailTel Corporation of India Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, has issued Vacancy Notice No. RCIL/2026/P&A/44/1 dated March 7, 2026. This notice is for regular recruitment in the Technical Department (Data Centre).
Post Details and Compensation
- Deputy Manager (Technical) / E-1: There are 3 vacancies (all UR) with a pay scale of ₹40,000–1,40,000 and an approximate CTC of ₹12 Lakh plus annual PRP. The specialization required is System Administration.
- Manager (Technical) / E-2: There are 4 vacancies (UR:1, OBC-NCL:2, EWS:1) with a pay scale of ₹50,000–1,60,000 and an approximate CTC of ₹15 Lakh plus annual PRP. Specializations include Database Administration (3 posts) and IT (1 post).
- Senior Manager (Technical) / E-3: There are 2 vacancies (SC:1, EWS:1) with a pay scale of ₹60,000–1,80,000 and an approximate CTC of ₹18 Lakh plus annual PRP. Specializations include System Administration (1 post) and IT (1 post).
Eligibility Criteria (as of April 6, 2026)
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg) in Electronics & Telecom, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, or related branches; alternatively, an M.Sc. (Electronics) or MCA is acceptable.
- Age Limits: For Deputy Manager, the limit is 21–30 years. For Manager, it is 23–31 years. For Senior Manager, it is 27–34 years.
- Experience: Deputy Managers need 2 years of post-qualification experience. Managers need 3 years. Senior Managers need 6 years. This experience must be from a Govt. Org, PSU, or a Private Org with an annual turnover of at least ₹300 Crore.
- Technical Certifications: Candidates must hold specific valid certifications such as Azure Administrator, RHCSA, VMware VCTA, or Oracle Database SQL, depending on the post.
Selection and Service Terms
- Selection Process: Selection is primarily based on an interview (100 marks, 60% qualifying). If many applications are received, a written/skill test may be conducted.
- Probation and Bond: There is a two-year probation period. Selected candidates must execute a service agreement of ₹2 Lakh to serve for at least three years.
- Posting: Candidates may be posted anywhere in India or abroad.
