The Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV), an autonomous institution under the Science and Technology Department of the Government of Kerala, has invited online applications for the following temporary project positions.
Accountant
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Age Limit: 37 years
- Monthly Salary: ₹30,000 (Consolidated)
- Educational Qualifications: * M.Com (Master of Commerce) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA.
- Successful completion of a certificate course in Tally.
- Experience Requirements: * Three years of experience in financial accounting within Scientific or Research institutions under State/Central Governments.
- OR Five years of work experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm specifically conducting accounts or audits for Government organizations.
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in the computation and remittance of GST/Income Tax and filing of GST/IT returns.
Office Assistant (Project)
- Number of Vacancies: 2
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Monthly Salary: ₹20,000 (Consolidated)
- Educational Qualifications: * Post-Graduation in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade.
- Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA).
- Desirable Qualification: One year of work experience in Government Scientific/Research Organizations.
General Terms and Application Process
- Application Fee: ₹236 (₹200 + GST). The fee must be paid online via SBI Collect. Applications submitted without the fee will not be considered.
- Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on a written test and/or interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
- Tenure: The positions are purely temporary. The initial appointment is for a period of one year, which may be extended based on performance and institutional requirements.
