Financial Information:
- E5 Grade (AGM): Pay scale of ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000. Total monthly emoluments are approximately ₹1,58,720.
- E2 Grade (Deputy Manager): Pay scale of ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000. Total monthly emoluments are approximately ₹99,200.

Educational Qualification & Experience
- AGM (Contract Cell): Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Marine Engineering with at least 60% marks. Requires minimum 15 years of experience in areas like sub-contracting or vendor development.
- DM (Quality Control): Degree (Mechanical/Naval Arch) with 7 years experience OR Diploma (Mechanical/Marine/Shipbuilding) with 10 years experience. Must have NDT or ASNT Level 2 certification.
- DM (Painting): Degree (Mechanical/Chemical) with 7 years experience OR Diploma (any branch) with 10 years experience. Requires NACE Level 2, Frosio Level 2, or equivalent certification.
- DM (Contract Cell): Degree (Mech/Elec/Marine/Naval Arch) with 7 years experience OR Diploma (Mech/Elec/Marine/Shipbuilding) with 10 years experience.
- DM (Machinery Design): Degree (Mech/Marine/Naval Arch) with 7 years experience OR Diploma (Mech/Marine/Shipbuilding) with 10 years experience. Experience must involve design applications like AutoCAD, Tribon, Aveva, or CADMATIC.
- DM (Electrical Design): Degree (Elec/Electronics/Comm) with 7 years experience OR Diploma (Elec/Electronics/Shipbuilding) with 10 years experience. Experience must involve Electrical Design applications such as AutoCAD or Tribon.
Age Limits (as on 12 May 2026)
- Assistant General Manager: Maximum 55 years (Born on or after 13 May 1971).
- Deputy Manager: Maximum 35 years (Born on or after 13 May 1991).
- Relaxations: The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (NCL) and 5 years for SC candidates for reserved posts. Ex-servicemen receive a 10-year relaxation for Deputy Manager and 5 years for AGM.
