Age Limit:
- 18–40 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible.
- Note: Usual age relaxations apply for SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Existing officers of the Technical Education Department are eligible for relaxation up to a maximum of 10 years (upper age not to exceed 50 years as of 01.01.2026).
Qualifications:
- A Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology (Electrical Engineering) awarded by a University/Government after undergoing a regular course of study for not less than three years, or its equivalent.
