Educational Qualifications (EQ)
The recruitment covers three distinct levels of education:

Salary Details (Pay Scale)
Salaries are based on the Pay Level as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC):

- Level 2 to 5: Common for Clerical, Driver, and Laboratory Assistant positions.
- Level 6: Includes roles like Junior Engineer, Scientific Assistant, and Stenographer Grade-II.
- Level 7 & 8: Higher-tier roles such as Senior Research Assistant or Language Instructor.
Application Fee and Payment
- Fee Amount: ₹100 (Rupees One Hundred only).
- Fee Exemptions: Women candidates, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempt from payment.
- Correction Charges: A uniform charge of ₹200 is levied for the first correction, and ₹500 for the second.
Examination Scheme
- Structure: Three separate Computer Based Examinations based on EQ levels: Matriculation, Higher Secondary (10+2), and Graduation & above.
- Subjects: The exam covers General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
- Scoring: Each part has 25 questions (50 marks each) with a total duration of 60 minutes.
- Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: UR: 30%, OBC/EWS: 25%, and Other Categories: 20%.
Application Process
- Online Portal: Applications must be submitted via https://ssc.gov.in or the “mySSC” mobile app.
- Live Photograph: The application module captures a real-time photograph; candidates must not upload pre-existing photos.
- Signature: Scanned signature must be in JPEG/JPG format, between 10 to 20 KB.
- Aadhaar Authentication: Candidates are advised to use Aadhaar-based authentication during the One-Time Registration (OTR) process.
