- Qualification : B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering First Class Engineering Degree [Four three year duration (for lateral entry)] awarded by an Indian University in the respective field with not less than 60% marks

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- Qualification : Diploma in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering First Class Diploma (3 year duration) awarded by State Technical Board/University in the respectivefield with not less than 60% marks.

- Monthly Stipend (INR) : 8000
- Duration of Training : One Year
- Location of Training : 71 Electrical Divisions of KSEB Ltd., spread across 14 districts of Kerala
Duration of Training: The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as perApprentices(Amendmen Act 1973.
- Previous Training/Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
- Selection Procedure: The final rank list would be prepared according to categories General / SC /ST /OBC on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates.
