The Indian Army has released the official notification for Agniveer recruitment under the Agnipath scheme for the year 2026. This recruitment covers various districts in Kerala and neighboring union territories.

Recruitment Units (ARO)
- ARO Calicut: Includes Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, Mahe, and Lakshadweep.
- ARO Trivandrum: Includes Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Idukki.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 17.5 to 22 years.

| Agniveer General Duty (GD) | Class 10th pass with 45% aggregate (minimum 33% in each subject). |
| Agniveer Technical | 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English (50% aggregate) OR ITI/Diploma in relevant trades. |
| Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper | 10+2 pass with 60% aggregate (minimum 50% in English and Math). |
| Agniveer Tradesman (10th/8th) | Pass in 10th or 8th class (minimum 33% in each subject). |
Physical Standards
- Height: 166 cm for GD and Tradesman; 165 cm for Technical.
- Chest: 77 cm (with 5 cm expansion).

Selection Process
- Phase 1: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
- Phase 2: Recruitment Rally (Physical Fitness Test and Medical Examination).
Benefits & Service Term
- Service Duration: 4 years. After completion, 25% of candidates may be offered permanent enrollment based on performance.
- Seva Nidhi Package: Approximately ₹10.04 lakhs (including interest) after 4 years.
- Insurance: ₹48 lakhs life insurance cover during the service period.
