The recruitment covers a wide range of departments with various pay levels:
- Executive Branch: Includes 31 Sub-Inspector (Executive) positions and 155 Constable (Executive) vacancies.
- Police Radio (PR): Includes 71 Radio Operator (ASI) and 12 Radio Technician (ASI) posts.
- Fire Service (FS): Features 77 Firemen (PC) and 17 Police Constable (Driver) positions.
- India Reserve Battalion (IRBn): Includes 29 Constable (General Duty) vacancies.
- Pay Levels: Salary ranges from Level 1 (₹18,000–₹56,900) for Follower roles to Level 6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400) for Sub-Inspector and ASI positions.
Eligibility and Selection
- Educational Qualification: Minimum requirements range from 10th standard for Follower/Safaikaramchari posts to a Bachelor’s degree for Sub-Inspector roles.
- Driving License: Most posts require a valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicles (Two and Four-wheelers).
- Age Limit: Generally between 18–33 years for males and 18–38 years for females for many Group-C posts, while Sub-Inspector roles are typically capped at 30 years.
- Physical Standards: Male candidates generally require a minimum height of 168 cm (160 cm for ST), while females require 155 cm (148 cm for ST).
- Selection Process: Includes a Physical Measurement and Endurance Test (qualifying nature), a Written Examination with 0.25 negative marking, and Trade Tests where applicable.
