Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentice: Candidates must have passed a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the respective disciplines or the equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Technician Apprentice: Candidates must have passed a First Class Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the respective disciplines or the equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): Candidates must have passed a First Class Bachelor’s Degree (in Arts/Science/Commerce) + First Class Degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science or the equivalent from a recognized Board.
Age Limit
18-35.Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates (5 years) and OBC candidates (3 years). Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are also eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of India Rules.
Salary Package:
- Graduate Apprentice – Rs. 9,000/- Stipend
- Technician Apprentice – Rs. 8,000/- Stipend
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering) – Rs. 9,000/- Stipend

IPRC, Mahendragiri is located near Kavalkinaru Junction which is about 22 kms away from Nagercoil in the Nagercoil–Tirunelveli National High Way. IPRC, Mahendragiri is about 500 mtrs away from Kavalkinaru Junction.
For those candidates coming from Kerala & Kanyakumari District, Nagercoil is the nearest Railway Station. Lodging facilities are available in Nagercoil. Tamil Nadu State Transport Buses proceeding to Tirunelveli/Madurai are available from Vadassery Bus Stand, Nagercoil. All these buses pass through the Kavalkinaru Junction.
