Age Limit:

18 – 40 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxations apply for SC/ST and Other Backward Communities (OBCs).

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR ITI Certificate (after successfully completing an 18-month course in the Electrician trade) along with successful completion of apprenticeship.
Experience Requirement: Minimum two years of experience working in a reputed film studio. (Note: In the absence of SC/ST candidates with the prescribed experience, SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered).

Important Terms & Probation

Ranked List Validity: The published ranked list will remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, or until a new ranked list is published (whichever is earlier).
Probation Period: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of appointment.

How to Apply & Crucial Dates

Application Mode: Online only through the official Kerala PSC website via One Time Registration (OTR). No application fee is required.
Aadhaar Card: Candidates possessing an Aadhaar card must add it as an ID proof in their OTR profile.
Written/OMR/Online Test: If an examination is conducted, candidates must submit a confirmation through their profile within the stipulated time to download their admission tickets.
Last Date for Submission: 02.09.2026 (Wednesday) up to 12:00 Midnight.
