- Pay Scale: All posts fall under Pay Matrix Level-4, with a basic pay range of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month.
- Allowances: Candidates receive Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, House Rent Allowance, and are covered under the Defined Contributory Pension Scheme (NPS) or Unified Pension Scheme (UPS).

Eligibility Conditions
The crucial date for determining age and all eligibility criteria is 30 days from the publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
- Head Constable (Communication):
- Age: 18 to 27 years.Education: 12th class pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics OR a 3-year diploma in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, or IT.
- Head Constable (Electrician):
- Age: 18 to 25 years.Education: Matriculation pass with a 2-year trade experience, or a 1-year ITI certificate with 1 year of experience, or a 2-year ITI Diploma in the respective trade.
- Head Constable (Veterinary):
- Age: 18 to 27 years.Education: 12th class pass with Science (Biology as a main subject) and a 2-year Diploma in Veterinary and Livestock Development or related course.
- Head Constable (Steward):
- Age: 18 to 27 years.Education: 12th class pass, a minimum 2-year Diploma in Catering and Kitchen Management, and 1 year of working experience as a Steward.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of multiple stages, and candidates must pass each to progress.
- Stage I: Physical Tests:
- PET (Male): 1.6 km race in 6 minutes 30 seconds.PET (Female): 800-meter race in 4 minutes.PST: Candidates must meet specific height and chest measurements; for general category males, the standard height is 170 cm.
- Stage II: Written Examination:
- A 3-hour Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions.Part-I (50 Marks): General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and General English/Hindi.Part-II (100 Marks): Technical subject related to the trade.Qualifying Marks: 50% for Gen/EWS/OBC/Ex-SM and 45% for SC/ST.
- Stage III: Skill Test: Required only for the Head Constable (Electrician) post; it is qualifying in nature with a minimum score of 60% required.
- Stage IV: Documentation and Medical: Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification followed by a Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

- Examination Fee: Rs. 100 for UR, EWS, and OBC candidates.
- Exemptions: SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, and Female candidates are exempt from paying the fee.
