State Bank of India invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for appointment to the Specialist Cadre Officers Posts on Contract Basis. Candidates

🏦 Posts and Vacancies

​The advertisement is for the Engagement of Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) on a Contract Basis in Wealth Management. The total number of regular vacancies available for each post is:

• ​VP Wealth (SRM): 506 vacancies.
• ​AVP Wealth (RM): 206 vacancies.
• Customer Relationship Executive: 284 vacancies.

​Age Limit (as on 01.05.2025)

​The maximum age indicated is for Unreserved Category candidates.

• ​VP Wealth (SRM): Minimum age is 26 years, and the maximum age is 42 years.
• AVP Wealth (RM): Minimum age is 23 years, and the maximum age is 35 years.
• ​Customer Relationship Executive: Minimum age is 20 years, and the maximum age is 35 years.
• Relaxation in the upper age limit is available for reserved category candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

​Educational Qualification and Experience (Mandatory as on 01.05.2025)

​Educational Qualification: Graduation from a Government recognised University or Institution is mandatory for all three posts.

​Mandatory Post-Qualification Experience:

• ​VP Wealth (SRM): 6 years into sales & marketing with leading Public / Private / Foreign Banks / Wealth Management Firms / AMCs.
• ​AVP Wealth (RM): 3 years into sales & marketing with leading Public/Private / Foreign Banks / Wealth Management Firms / AMCs / SBI Wealth CRES having 4 years of experience.
• Customer Relationship Executive: There is no mandatory post-qualification experience required. Preferred experience includes documentation requirements of financial products and good communication skills.
• ​Teaching and training experience will not be counted for eligibility. Experience of less than six months in any organization shall not be considered.

• The registration process is complete only when the fee is deposited with the Bank through online mode on or before the last date.
• ​Application Fee and Intimation Charges (Non-refundable):
  • ​₹ 750/- (Seven Hundred Fifty only) for UR/EWS/OBC candidates.​No fees/intimation charges for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
  . ​⚙️ Selection Process ​The selection process comprises the shortlisting of candidates followed by one or more rounds of Personal / Telephonic / Video Interview and CTC negotiations.
  • ​The shortlisting committee will decide the shortlisting parameters, and the Bank’s decision on calling candidates for the interview shall be final.​The Interview will carry 100 marks, and the qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.​The Merit List for selection will be prepared in descending order based on the scores obtained in the interview only.
