Essential Qualification:
- Graduate from a recognized University Degree OR Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism with a duration of atleast one year from a recognized University/Institution OR 5-year experience in reporting/editing work in print/electronic media ; Proficiency in Malayalam language ; Knowledge of basic computer applications
Desirable qualification:
Experience of journalistic work in Radio/TV (for degree/diploma holders in Journalism) Nature of Job; Preparation of prime time news bulletins which involves editing of news and compilation
Newsreader-cum-Translator (Malayalam)
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate from a recognized University ; Proficiency in Malayalam language ; Having a voice of good quality suited to broadcasting ; Knowledge of basic computer applications ; Must have Malayalam typing skill
Desirable qualification:
Experience of journalistic work in Radio/TVNature of Job: Translation from English to Malayalam and vice-versa and presenting the news bulletins and news-based programmes

Not less than 21 years and not more than 50 years (as on the last date of advertisement)

How to Apply
Application should reach the Head of Office, All India Radio, Bhakthi Vilasom, Vazhuthacaud P.O, Thiruvananthapuram – 695014, by post only, on or before 08.07.2022. The envelope containing the application in the prescribed format should be superscribed with “Application for _______ in RNU, AIR, Thiruvananthapuram to be engaged on casual basis”.Applications received after the prescribed date and time will not be considered. For any late receipt or non-receipt of theapplications, this office shall not be held responsible and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
The following documents are to be submitted along with the duly filled application proforma:-
