Kerala Tourism inviting for various post Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the following posts at Eco Lodge Idukki Peerumedu under the Department of Tourism on temporary basis for a maximum period of one year on contract basis. The educational qualification and work experience required for the candidates for the above posts will be as given below.
House keeping staff
- SSLC or equivalent qualification
- Must have passed Craft Certificate Course in Hotel Accommodation Operation from Food Craft Institute, Government of Kerala or Diploma or PG Diploma in Hotel Accommodation Operation from Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology under Union Ministry of Tourism.
- 6 months experience in housekeeping in hotels of 2 star classification or above kitchen
Helper
- SSLC or equivalent qualification
- One year Food Production Craft Certificate II from Food Craft Institute, Government of Kerala), Minimum 1 year work experience as Cook Assistant Cook in hotels of 2 star classification or above.
Age Limit:
Candidates between the age of 18 – 35 years are allowed to apply for the above post with age relaxation as per rules for reserved categories.
Important Conditions
1) Appointment to the above posts will be temporary appointment on contract basis for a maximum period of one year.2) Candidates will be selected only on the basis of merit based written exam skill test / interview.
3) The selected employees will be paid as per the Government Order of the time on daily wage basis the amount paid to Class IV employees. Current Daily Wages – 660 –
