Essential Educational Qualifications

The candidates must have passed Matriculation(SSLC) Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Age Limit (As on 01-08-2023):

The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1998 and not later than 01-08-2005) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).
18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2005) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and few posts of MTS.

Physical Standard Test (PST):

The minimum physical standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN are as follows:
Male:Height 157.5 cms. (relaxable by 5 Cms in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes) Chest Unexpanded: 76 cms Minimum expansion: 5 cms
Female:Height 152 cms. relaxable by 2.5 Cms in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes)Weight 48 kg (relaxable by 2 Kg in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN: Followings are the PET/ PST standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN:
Male :Walking 1600 meters in 15 minutes. And Cycling 8 Kms. in 30 minutes
Female : Walking 1 Km in 20 minutes And Cycling 3 Kms. in 25 minutes

Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan
